According to THR, 20th Century Fox Television has hired Monica Owusu-Breen to pen the script for the new take on Joss Whedon’s cult favorite. Although it does not have a network yet, Fox will shop the show to both cable networks and streaming services. Joss Whedon, the guy behind the original “Buffy”, will serve as an executive producer for the series.
