Various sources have reported that Keith Thomas (The Vigil) has been tapped to direct the Blumhouse new adaptation of Stephen King’s Firestarter. Writer Scott Teems will pen the script.
Firestarter based on King’s classic novel which the story follows a young girl who develops pyrokinetic abilities and is abducted by a secret government agency that wants to harness her powerful gift as a weapon.
Drew Barrymore starred in the original 1984 film.
