[Series] ‘IT’ Prequel ‘Welcome to Derry’ In Development At HBO

Various sources have reported that a prequel series Welcome to Derry (working title) based on the Stephen King novel It is in the works at HBO Max. Although it is currently still in the early stages of development, the series would likely explore the origin story of Pennywise the Clown and when children first begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine.
