Aliens actor Al Matthews dies aged 75. Al Matthews played the memorably Gunnery Sergeant Apone in Aliens (1986), was found dead in his home in Spain over the weekend.
Matthews had been a member of the US Marine Corps and served during the Vietnam War. According to his bio, he boasted of holding 13 combat awards and decorations including two Purple Hearts.
